The President in Charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, ratified to the country and international allies his position on the need to return to the negotiation process in Mexico as soon as possible.

The national president added that it is the most precise way to achieve a Comprehensive Agreement that allows an accurate solution to the crisis in Venezuela.





“The progressive lifting of sanctions is and remains subject to complying with the points of the Agreement. We are ready to achieve it,” he said through his Twitter account.

President Guaidó added the need to make significant progress on the agenda to restore democracy. The independence of powers, freedom of political prisoners, and free and fair elections.

“Not resuming the process will bring more international pressure to the dictatorship,” he said.

Last Friday, the President in Charge expressed that his response continues to be forceful: Venezuela needs a solution to the serious crisis. Therefore, he reiterated that guarantees for all will only be possible through an agreement, and free and fair presidential elections.
